Privacy Notice

Effective date: September 2, 2026. This notice is published by Argos Payment Solutions | A Division of JPE Argos Group LLC ("Argos," "we," "us"). It describes how this website handles information and the choices and rights you have.

What this notice covers

This notice applies to the website at argospaymentsolutions.com. It does not cover the payment platforms, gateways, or portals of the processing partners whose services we represent — those are operated by their providers under their own privacy notices, which we encourage you to read. If you become a merchant customer, the information you provide during underwriting and onboarding is collected and processed by the applicable processor and its sponsor financial institutions under your Merchant Processing Agreement and their privacy notices.

Information this website collects

Only what you choose to send through the contact page. This site has no accounts, no sign-ins, and no file uploads. Four notes:

• Contact form. When the contact page offers a send-from-here form, submitting it sends us your name, business name, contact details, message, and which page of this site you sent it from. We use that information solely to respond to your inquiry. It is relayed as an email to our business inbox through Resend, Inc., an email-delivery provider acting as our processor, and is not stored in any database operated by this website — the only copy we keep lives in our business email, as ordinary correspondence. To have it deleted, email info@argospaymentsolutions.com. We never sell or share it for marketing.
• Message composer. When the contact page instead offers its browser-only composer, that tool assembles a pre-filled email from what you type and opens your own mail app. Sending it is your choice, from your own email account — this website never receives or records what you enter there.
• Theme preference. If you switch between light and dark mode, that preference is saved in your browser's local storage on your device. It never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
• Server records. Like nearly every website, the hosting infrastructure that serves these pages may process standard technical records — such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested — to deliver content, maintain security, and diagnose problems. We do not use these records to identify or profile visitors.

Cookies and tracking

This site sets no cookies. It runs no analytics, no advertising technology, and no third-party trackers, and its pages load no third-party scripts, fonts, or embeds. Because the site does not track visitors, browser signals such as "Do Not Track" and Global Privacy Control require no action from us — there is no tracking to opt out of.

Information you choose to send us

If you call or email us, we receive the information you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, and information about your business. We use it to respond, to provide the consultation or service you asked about, and to keep ordinary business records. If you pursue a merchant account, information needed for underwriting is passed to the applicable processing partner under your instructions and its agreements. Please do not email full card numbers, Social Security numbers, or other sensitive data — we will never ask you to.

Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose information only: to processing partners at your request as part of obtaining services; to service providers that host our infrastructure, limited to the technical records described above; or where required by law, regulation, or legal process.

Your state privacy rights

Several U.S. states — including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Montana, Oregon, Texas, Utah, and Virginia — give their residents rights over personal information a business holds about them, which may include the right to know, access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of that information, and the right to opt out of sales, sharing, or targeted advertising. This website collects no personal information and we sell none, so in most cases there is nothing to act on — but if you have corresponded with us and want your information accessed, corrected, or deleted, contact us using the details below and we will honor every applicable request. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.

California residents: we do not "sell" or "share" personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we have not done so in the preceding 12 months.

Florida residents: in the event a security breach ever affects personal information we hold, we will provide notice as required by the Florida Information Protection Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.171).

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

We keep what little we hold — business correspondence — under reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, and retain it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as the law requires.

When this site changes

Contact forms, statement reviews, and merchant sign-in are planned for the future. Before any feature that collects personal information through this site launches, this notice will be updated to describe exactly what is collected, why, and the choices you will have. Material changes will appear on this page with a revised effective date.
